As someone said earlier, the ones that will bring the big money will be the rare BB SWB fully optioned trucks, 2wd blazers, and such others just like the car market. As they go up, they will bring everything else up with it but only marginally. You can tell when one is done "right" and it will bring the money.

The SWB fleetsides appreciate because they look great, they take street mods well (lowering, roll pans, shaved handles/emblems, etc.), and are the lightest and sleekest for drag racing as much as they appreciate for being rare among 67-72 GM trucks.

I think well restored, but not concourse, 67-72 4x4s with a mild lift and big tires still sell for good money. Musclerodz mentioned that we can tell when a truck is done right. The little things count from completeness to no rust showing anywhere. ALL the body work and paint must be done. On ebay, besides needing great pics, the rig has to present something people want with no extra effort required after purchase. Just more opinions.

I'm glad to see more interest in these trucks. Sure the prices are escalating, but they are not out of control. It SHOULD mean that if a person maintains a truck it will make a small amount of profit.

Interest builds demand for aftermarket parts. The fact that our trucks are the most recent to gain interest means that the prices for these parts are often lower. Try to buy parts for a Chevelle, and see what I mean.

When I was working on my Nova, it was the same way. Prices were lower, and demand for parts was picking up. I drove it for 3 yrs, stripped several of the options, and sold it for $700 more than I paid. Small profit is good.
