I put a deck screw throught my first one...lasted 6 months. then I broke down and bought an aftermarket pedal. Still works today, but it isn't perfect.

Next time it tanks, I'll get a welder on the task and do a floating pedal.

Ya I guess I should find some unique object/part to make into a new pedal and weld or bolt it on to the stick
