The door looks so much better now. That is such a straight old truck. I bet it really runs good after that tune up!

Sorry, got auto corrected.
Snout on trans, not about on trans. That's front bearing retainer in parts guy terminology. |

Yes I did clean, inspect, grease all the linkages. I welded up the clutch linkage and hand filed it. Amazing what some maintenance does for the truck. Shifts are smoother and gears have a more distinct feeling on the shifter!!

Re: My 1957 farm truck survivor
WHAT?! Heresy! Heresy! Why sell it? You've just gotten it running right. Did you buy it with the intent of flipping it for a profit?
What a shame.

Re: My 1957 farm truck survivor
Dan you need to buy it ... that way you can drive it anywhere and not worry about it .
Maybe hit it with some greenish rattle can spray paint ....

Re: My 1957 farm truck survivor
Ha!
I've actually thought I should have rebuilt my truck's old 283 and installed the Fatman Fabrication's IFS I bought (never used and still have), then just kept re-rattle canning it when needed would have saved a helluva lot of money and time!

Re: My 1957 farm truck survivor
How did you adjust the front altitude? Height looks great! Also, what size tires are you running both front and rear?
