Re: Carlisle All Truck Nationals
Be there Friday and Saturday with my son. 67 is not ready so I entered my silverado in fun field just to get good parking and a place to return to rest and have a cold beverage.

Re: Carlisle All Truck Nationals
I'll be there hanging out with Tim (special-k), trying to act cool....
I listed my parts here... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=299887 won't be around on Sunday since it's usually pretty dead by noon there. Here is one map from the carlisle website, there are others on the site though.. http://www.carsatcarlisle.com/ce/pdf..._Truck_Map.pdf

Re: Carlisle All Truck Nationals
I'll be arriving early afternoon Friday to pick up some parts in the parking lot and walking around all day Saturday. It is starting to become an annual pilgrimage, four years running for me.

Hey 69... just like you going for "ALL Trucks Nationals" going to Carlisle for BikeFest - All Chevy - All Chrysler, ALL Corvette", etc... was just something we did each year all depending on "what" I was "into" at the time. Sadly this Summer it looks like will be the firsttime in a LONGtime we have NO PLANS to go to ANY of the Carlisle events. Too much going NEWS: This Summer (make the Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall...ha) .... my son is home from Pheonix via Iraq back to reserve-status, going back to school to be certified for welding which could come in "handy" in our backyard gargae. The BAD NEWS:I injuryed neck/upper spine do a work-related accident (since last Dec.) NO WORK or $$$ pay checks $$$ since then (of course compensation insurance says pre-exisiting condition and my lawyer & I feel differently) physical therapy, epidural injections and if that ain't enough I was just diagnosted with "Diabetes" last week so having to deal with all the docs, education/training and of course poking myself etc. has turned this Summer into "one I did not expect" And finally some Good News.... I found a nice NO-MANUAL LABOR "counter-type job" a LA FITNESS working morning shift. Attached to getting this job was my "NEED" to find a "daily driver" to get back & forth to work ..... so.... I picked up a pretty nice 81 El Camino (V6 3-on-the floor which is GOOD on gas (22mph city)... of course it's a "dog" but at least my trips to the gas station should not be so bad or as frequent anymore (my wife has an Avalanche)... plus the El Camino will be NOT only funto drive but also fun to FIXup. That's why missing Carlisle...especially "All Truck Nationals" THISYEAR is a "BIG bummer" for me being I am STLL looking for parts/wheels/tires/etc for our "race/hot rod C10 long-term project" and of course for our "newly acquired" El Camino. So have FUN without me.... maybe NEXTyear we can "hook-up" at Carlisle..... In the meantime.....take lots of pictures to post here on the forum and/or e-mail to us who cannot go.... if I get lucky maybeI'll be to be able to get to Carlisle for the "Fall Swap Meet"..... another GREAT Carlisle event.... FYI.... they ALL are .... have fun !!!!

Re: Carlisle All Truck Nationals
I want to see what is playing at the drive-in movie theater down the road. Couple years ago I saw Dukes of Hazzard on the big screen out there, was a good time.

Re: Carlisle All Truck Nationals
I'm debating on taking my 70 GMC there on Friday to sell. Anyone know how much it is to put my truck in the coral for sale? Which gate would I go to?

Re: Carlisle All Truck Nationals
I was also thinking fishnet tanktop!
if anyone else is looking for entertainment on Friday night they still had lawn seats available for $10 at Hershey,PA They look a little different now though, Brett is from Harrisburg.. Well, I flew over Carlisle today and noticed that some tents are starting to go up. I'm loading up my stuff tomorrow and heading out early Friday morning. I only live 45 min so I should be in the gate by 8am.

Re: Carlisle All Truck Nationals
I don't think I've ever noticed boxes and endcaps at the vendors booths, but then I am never looking for them either since mine have held up. Good luck!
