Help with a '67 Shortbed Body Lines

I have a 67 short bed small window that we are trying to get the body lines to match. The problem starts at the bed to cab where they are an inch or so high. we were able to shim the cab (new mount kit) but by the time we got to the new core support we had over an inch of shims - obviously not right.

This truck did come with a new bed, and I'm wondering if they put a 68-72 bed on instead of a 67. Can anyone take some measurements for me from the top of the bed to the body line and the bottom of the bed up to the body line?

Additionally, the bed seems too 'wide' for the truck at the cab area. I'd appreciate width measurements there too.

I do appreciate all the help on this most frustrating day.
