Re: Roll Call for the 1965s!

Originally from Wa state, Im the 2nd owner, bought it from the grandson of the original buyer. Found the build sheet in the seat. 283ci, PG, 3.73 posi. Orig owner installed 4bbl rochester with corvette manifold and dual exhaust. After joining here I installed the GMC grill but I do have the original which is flawless and I do have the original hubcaps in storage.. Love it, thumbs up daily!

I was 18 and took the truck on service calls to farms, man that truck could haul. I wonder if my brother knows how I drove that thing?

Awesome job. I love that truck. Looks better that it probably was when it was new. I hope I can get mine looking that good some day. Nice truck.

Re: Roll Call for the 1965s!

Here is my 65. Had it since Oct. 2010. Starting the rust replacement this spring, when things warmup. Bought it off Ebay, from California. Shipping was twice what I paid for the truck.

Re: Roll Call for the 1965s!

Here is some pieces of my '65. Haha! It's a work in progress as most of you know how that goes. Once I get my pictures all together, I want to start a build thread. At this stage, I've got almost all the new metal in on the passenger side. These pictures are just a little behind my progress.

GC, any possible way to get a side view of your truck, I'm thinking about lowering my 65' an inch more in the front and I'm at 4.5/5 right now with 235/75/15 skins also. Thanks!
