Im game for Labor Day weekend, I just moved here from Vegas (prior to that Phoenix) and I miss Glamis Sand Dunes. Would be fun to see how the 72 does in the sand.

Well, What weekend do you guys want to go???? I realize it's FOREVER away.
But, so far it's seems to be looking like the end of summer. Do you guys want to do the Holiday weekend, to watch the masses. Or an off weekend, so we have the dunes to ourselves, for the most part.

I'm talking about 08'... But it would be really cool if we could start some kind of traditional meet for us Northeast guys.. I bet if we went for a couple of years and everyone posted their pics and stories, the meet would grow into a possible National meet.

This will be tied into the road trip jaros44sr and I are hoping to pull off this summer.
Trying to get together and drive our blazers over the chevyman's place.

We're both still building but j's way ahead of me, we're talking about shooting for the 'end' of summer.

My .02 for the crowd thing would be less traffic.

I don't have a clue who to check with, nor have I been around long enough for anyone to listen. If someone has that kind of influence, I will do everything I can to help.

I think he was referring to having the National Board Meet at the dunes for 2009

Here are a couple more pictures I have from this past summer. The weekend we went, we only saw one blazer pictured below. The kids love it as much as I do.

You can also count me in to give a hand if there is a blazer get together!
(not sure if mine will be finished by then)

Between this and the 4 wheel and off road jamboree in Indy I better get my arse in gear on mamas Blazer.

I am definitely up for the Labor day or any weekend around that time. Might even be able to bring a few more of our style of trucks with me.
