Honestly, i have parted out much nicer. I agree with most of the other guys, save a few parts and put them on another truck. You will be money ahead this way.

Agreed, Get the truck out and see what the frame is really like. Clean it all out so you can see what your really working with. Thats doesnt cost anything to do. If the frame is really good, then just swap another cab and front sheet metal. BUT, You might really be better off starting with a better truck and just keeping anything good off your Dads truck

I haven't been on here in 6 months! Wow...

I haven't had a chance to do anything with the truck, except clean the area around it (Getting rid of any possible snake dens)
