Wow. I have never driven a 67-72 as a daily that long. I think about 3 years is my longest stretch although I still have my 72 I bought in 94-95 when I drove it daily.

Thank you, I wanted to stay away from the flash so I went the opposite way and went black in places that are usually chrome.

Re: Daily driver pictures

I drove the 1967 short box for 5 years rain or shine from march-the first snow some times middle of december. Just sold it this summer aswe now have 2 boys. I get to drive my hot rod to work and make money with it now.

The 1967 C20 is my daily driver. It gets worked usually with 2500-4000lbs load in it.

1968 suburban is the after work driver

I forgot that you're running the same wheels I used to be running. I sold them for $200, and then got those steelies and caps that you've already seen in my pics for around $120. One great side effect from the new steelies, is that they stick out a little further, and fill the wheel wells better. The truck seems to have a more beefy and stable feel to it now too

Cool truck. I would love to see what it looks like with your steelies painted black, instead of white. I bet it would look great with the rest of the theme you've got

The black is temporary until I repaint. When I got the truck everything was the same color so I added some contrast. I will be going with 505 green on the body with a white top, and everything painted black will be white. With white 16" steelies and 67 dog dish caps.

Re: Daily driver pictures

The first two photos shows what it looked like the day I brought it home. The rest show some of the changes/upgrades. I don't have a good photo, but it's got 8-inch Rallies now. I have a garage-full of parts -- doors, fender, bed, new chrome bumper -- waiting for warmer weather.
