Re: For those without original jack, what are you carrying in your truck?
Grumpy, Grumpy - no one's trying to kick you off the board. People just have different opinions, here as in the real world. We'd all be better off if we all learned to take those differences less seriously. You're a valuable part of the board here, stick around.

Ok, better question. How do you guys store your aftermarket jack/ tools. I plan on getting AAA when it can move under its own power. But yeah I hate waiting on roadside assistance. Id rather get dirty for a min than wait close to an hour. I know a lot of you guys are good at hiding stuff.

Re: For those without original jack, what are you carrying in your truck?
Grumpy -- I most certainly did not intend to 'take a swipe' at you for any reason, nor did I mean to offend you. My point simply was that whenever possible, I prefer to do things myself rather than have someone else do it for me. That is all.
I went back and re-read the posts a couple more times and I honestly do not see anything offensive. You have your opinions and I have mine, nothing more. Have a nice day.

Re: For those without original jack, what are you carrying in your truck?
Drew, I stored my jack/tools under the seat in the last truck. A pretty tight fit. On my current truck I have a bed-mounted toolbox, makes things a lot easier!

Did this on the cheap. Jack and tools are from a '95 Blazer. Fits under the seat good. $20.00 wrecking yard special.

That's a beauty! Is that a case for it? If so I like!

I like this setup! I'm probably going with this on my next road trip
