Pro Performance: '64 Suburban Build

Wanted to start a new build thread for the suburban project I will be taking on. I absolutely loved my '63 and got to put almost 8k miles on it. Unfortunately, due to a growing family, I was on the look out for a suburban. I eventually found one, and that is when I decided to put the '63 up for sale. As much as I would like to keep both, it just wasn't in the cards. The suburban will be great to haul the family in and enjoy car shows without having to drive separately.

Now that the '63 is sold, I am able to start on the new project. I am starting with a '64 suburban that was bought down in Tucson, AZ. I have been always looking for one, and my Dad's friend came across this, and immediately let me know. He reluctantly sold it to me.

My plans with this one will be slightly different than '63. Same basic idea, but want to do something different instead of building the same "truck" again. I am not planning to lay this one on the ground. Not wanting to raise the floor in the back.
