The deluxe steering wheel is correct for your 65. Please refer to Historical/ This I Know Section. May I copy your photo of the dash for posting in that Thread?

Those are American Racing "CP-200's" and are somewhat sought after for older musclecar applications, Have the centers bead blasted and polish the lips and you will be in some serious old school cool!

Well thank you. Sadly I have not. I took a look at a few of the other type of rear doors but it will be way too much metal workin for me to handle. I can only imagine what someone would charge me to do it. I really like how the clam style hides the hinges, not like these bulky hinges it has now. oh well, maybe some day. Oh and hemmit yeah there is a extra set of barn doors there.

So did you say there is an extra set of doors? I would be interested as my panel was used for a paint/Wrestling pit. It looked as if they used a battering ram to open it from the inside.

I spent one day removing the inside wood from mine. I think the rear lifted 2 inches.

Update. I got this thing running and all the wiring issues worked out. Gonna put some serious miles on it as soon as the rain clears up. An adition to the family? More to come.
