I never get tired of looking at that soccer dad blue truck.Looks great dirty,too.

If I can just get the vapor lock issue solved when it gets warm. I'm not even turning on the A/C. I thought the cowl hood would help. It did but not enough. I routed the gas line differently, wrapped the line and a shield under the carb. I've heard that this was an issue with big blocks in these trucks..............

87 1 ton 4x4. Now has a cowl hood. Still having vapor lock issues on this one..........

Dean,that`s one fine machine,only better.
I wanted to buy one so bad in`87.I saw it was my last chance at a classic design.I never gave up hope until a friend got what appeared to be one of the last through a dealer search.Too bad I bought my house at the first of the year.That left me broke for a bit too long.i actually have my eye on his still.It`s in the hands of another friend now.Only a Custom Deluxe,but it`s a 454 truck,midnight blue.It was well used and would need a resto.
Nice truck,I`m jealous.

Here's my truck its a 79' 3/4 ton frame with an 87' cab and 88-91 blazer front clip. Frame up Resto... 350-th400-Np203 14bff rear, Not Done yet but getting there

That truck has one of my pet peeves... rear u-bolts that are WAY too long. For the love of all that is holy, saw them suckers off!

Here's my truck its a 77' 3/4 ton. Frame off Resto... 350, 60 over th350-Np205 14bff rear, Dana 44 front, Not Done yet but getting there.
