Here in Phoenix, AZ we are lookin at about $1.96 for 87 octane at the cheapest gas stations. Most are at $1.99 for 87 octane.

I was watching on the news that the past few days crude oil prices by the barrel have been dropping! But our prices arent! Well it doesnt help now that Saddam is setting all those oil wells on fire in Iraq...

Just out of curiosity, what's the $US/gal equivalent of $CN/Liter? I'm not up on the monetary exchange rate.

Z71 runner, The trippiest thing about it is, only 2% of US gas comes from the middle east and only 11% of the world's supply, most US gas comes from Canada and south America, P.S. Hey Canadians, is it true you still have high octane at the pump? I heard BC has 102 octane at the pump!!! If you guys ever get an in and out burger I'm there:p

the funny thing around where i live is that our local station is selling 93octane at $1.92. And in a neighboring city, when i fill up there my 69 c10 runs better on there gas, its only $1.82 for 93 octane. I left my tailgate down for a week to see if it made a diff. and it gave me 20mpg instead of 18. 2mpg difference makes a big difference over time. It'll be alot worse after i get the 502 droped in my 72 Chyanne. I bet it will only get about 10-15mpg at best.

I read yesterday that a barral of oil dropped from something like $38/barrel to $29/barrel, so hopefully prices will be dropping. Meanwhile i'm stuck paying $1.69/gal
