1971 chevy c10 restoration

Hey there this will be my first restoration of a vehicle and am pretty new to this other then im a welder by trade but the story goes my father bought this old c10 30 years ago for $50 bucks and since sat in a barn for 30 years during that time it has seen neglect and alot of animal damage until now as seen in pictures this will be a well documented post any input on the build would be very appreciated
So far the plan is to make a fleet side short bed and replace the 6 cylinder 3 on the tree with a 350 motor and 4 speed tranny
