NO!!!! don't do that...it will ruin the spring, if you cut the hole coil spring in half you will not be able to reuse them, as that would be about 6" of drop
![]() You just cut a 1/2 a coil off. In other words, from the bottom of the coil spring, mark off 1/2 of the first round of the coil spring...it's about 8" long, from the end of the original coil spring to where you will be cutting...that will give you roughly 1" of additional drop. |
