Looks good!

That's exactly where I've been considering mounting my gauges but just don't know if I can bring myself to drill there even though my dash has already been cut for a din radio.

I'll be buying a Roto Kut bit to try!

is the bottom of the bag bolted to the plate too sorry for the dumb question im just used to seeing the cup style on front airbags

yes its bolted and can't move

Thoughts n comments on mounting compressor on the side. Is it true that it decreases it's life?

not sure, personally I've never had a failure and typically any compressor thats been returned to me for repair or warranty is too small for the tank they run or the supply side of the system leaks down and the compressor is overworked. I can also tell you I have bought a lot of cars and trucks with airride installed and every single one has leaks that I've had to fix.

According to the manufacturer, no it doesnt matter.

3000 with an additional charge for drop spindles, c notch and lowering blocksLet me know when you want to bring it in, lol.....we would need it for 2 days

No sweat, anytime. We have several c10's in the shop right now for misc suspension work, vintage air installs, LS swaps etc. If anyone wants a particular tech write up let me know and maybe we can post it up.

I received my kit last week and we're getting ready to start the install this weekend. Boris has been great to work with. It's nice knowing there is still great customer service out there.

There's a couple in my build thread the night I finished it and backed it out in the snow. Has been a great kit since December when installed.

Good write up. Thanks for sharing the pics. Looks good but I have two questions.

How does it ride?

And. Does the front airbag rub on the lower control arm? That looks like a less than ideal angle????

Those bags are deflated so it looks odd. The bags do touch the control arm on the inside it cant really be avoided with this kind of setup but as long as its not chaffing the bag it doesnt cause any issues. I have driven thousands of miles on a setup like this with little more than a shiny spot where the bag touches and no damage to the bag at all. The bags should be set up to be nice and straight and parallel at your intended ride height so theres usually some misalingnment at full inflation because of the way the arm pivots. Nothing beats the ride quality of a properly set up air ride system. I know you were asking the original poster but I have installed this kit and it is a nice setup for the budget.
