Re: I've Been STRONGARMED!!!

SCOTI,

I know you know your stuff, but I wonder if the hitch was another vendors, like some parts sold through ECE. When I got parts from ECE that are truly their parts like the rear cross member the PC quality was as good as my local. Just wondering.

ECE's product quality is great & I've ordered several times from them so I didn't hesitate to order another hitch. But, I was again disappointed about the PC quality. If you put the hitch I just bought up against the PC'd stuff I've had done locally (Dropmember SBC), there's an obvious difference in 'film' depth. Since I was going to do some hacking on the hitch, the point was moot. I'll most likely get my local PC place to re-coat the hitch.

Kudos to you & your pops. Nice work!

I currently have an ECE Extreme Drop Center c.member & ECE trans c.member sitting in my garage. This pic of the ECE 'Hidden Hitch' was taken after installation.....

Re: I've Been STRONGARMED!!!

Cool, just wondered. I am actually thinking of getting my strongarms cleared PC'd, I can get my guy to bake them at a low heat, I think the clear bakes at a lower heat anyway. What heat do you think the rubber in the bushing would take before they started to melt?
