The color is a factory GM color...from 1955 (one year only), Seamist Green. I believe the paint code number back then was 586, you might want to double check that though. I went with single stage, not much of a clear coat fan on non-exotic colors.

I posted the process on here a long while back, I'll see if I can find you a link when I get a break here at work. I went with the stock style compressor to keep the stock look under the hood, it does leak a very small bit of oil from the front seal when it's on like they all did but it cools the cab exellently.
