What car did the coolant overflow cap come off of?
Yes. Again, I got mine from Wes at Classic Heartbeat, but the cap was used in lots of GM cars from ~'70 through the mid eighties. Search the web for that part number and you will several applications including Pontiacs, Corvettes, etc...

Re: overflow

76Bonanza, yes I ran a line from the rad. cap to the bottom of the canister.
The canister actually has two tubes coming out of the bottom. One is flush on the inside, the other sticks up about 3/4 of the way. If the coolant gets over the second one it just dumps out. Mine has never filled that much if ever. It does work as a recovery system though. There would have to be a lot of fluid for it to puke out.

Re: overflow

nice 68 step I think I will run a hose to the outside of compatment for now does anyone know if 3/8 fuel hose will work?

Were did you get that from 68step? I saw CPP has some for about 35.00 dollars.

Also you said I ran a line from rad cap? Mine comes out the side of rad neck not from the cab. Is yours different?

Re: overflow

This is http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/monte...spagenameZWDVWwhat I used. The picture is backwards. It mounts on the passenger inner fenderwell right next to the battery. It fits perfectly. The hose connects like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OEM-1...spagenameZWDVW
