Re: Longhorn head count!
Longhorns were built on the one ton frame, and none of the one tons were 4X4, and the conversion isn't a simple nuts and bolts issue

Re: Longhorn head count!
I am picking one up next week. It is a 70 Longhorn with the 402 automatic. It is a 3 owner and only has 77,000 miles on it. Very good shape just needs the wood in the bed replaced.

Re: Longhorn head count!
Hey Andy,
I took some pics today to post. I will try to get them on here soon. I have been lucky with the Avitar so far. Still have some hard copies for you if you would like? The truck has been changing just like yours. AWESOME THREAD! Interested in your FULL GAUGE WIRE as well from another post. Respectfully

Re: Longhorn head count!
It's more than just springs and brakes, the frame itself has a higher section modulus. In simple terms, its bigger and stronger, as well as longer. Hey, I'm a poet and didn't know it.
