Re: OK 1967 smal back window do you LOVE IT ! or DON'T LOVE IT !
Don't love it.
It must have started with me at the '55-'59 trucks, with either the little back window, or the massive, dominant wrap around back window. Much preferred. The small window on a '67 is a good look, but just a little less so than the large window.

A 67 is the only truck year of the 67-72's that I own & will drive
I like the Panoramic View optioned trucks too, but that is because they were odd Cept for maybe a 71 4x4 |

Re: OK 1967 smal back window do you LOVE IT ! or DON'T LOVE IT !
My first real truck was a 67 longbed fleetside with the small back window. It had every bell and whistle that a 67 could have. I really liked the small window because we lived in Central Texas at the time and it helped keep the sun off the back of my neck going down the road. I think it got the worse gas mileage of any vehicle I ever owned though.

Don't like them at all. It looks too small back there...

I'd take the small window over the big window any day.

Re: OK 1967 smal back window do you LOVE IT ! or DON'T LOVE IT !
I agree with the concept that all the 68 to 72 trucks will take care of those folks who want the big back window. I much prefer the small window. The visibilty issue reminds me of the 1963 Corvette I used to have. Everyone calls them the "split window coupe", as it has the bar down the center of the back window. They eliminated it in 1964 because the visiblity out the back of the 63's was really bad. To me, the small back window is like the split window. The form is too cool to worry about the function. Besides, that is why trucks have mirrors.

Re: OK 1967 smal back window do you LOVE IT ! or DON'T LOVE IT !
I can tell you that back in 1965 I know that the big window was "way" more popular than the small window ..Because I bought a brand new one with the big back window and got praise for it by all who rode and looked at my truck ,,but now its unique and more people want them, I like them in the step side trucks but not as much in the fleet side.
just my opinion papa

love my truck, hate my little window.
if you have your arm around someone, you cant look over your left shoulder to merge, and pulling the boat is a pita, just gotta hang the head out the window. i guess i hate my peep mirrors also

Re: OK 1967 smal back window do you LOVE IT ! or DON'T LOVE IT !
I have a '67 CST big-winder LWB and a '67 GMC small-winder SWB. Real-world, seat of the pants driveability goes to the big window cab. Uniqueness and seperation from the "herd" is definately the realm of the small window. I like them both and will drive both, but the small glass cab does get me a few more "thumbs up".

Re: OK 1967 smal back window do you LOVE IT ! or DON'T LOVE IT !
Small windows are great, because they are so distinctive - you can recognize them right away. Hard to tell the difference in the '69, '70's and the '71 and '72's.

Re: OK 1967 smal back window do you LOVE IT ! or DON'T LOVE IT !
I don't mind them, but I voted "don't love it". They just make the cab look out of proportion with all that extra metal around the window compared to the large side windows and large front window. I would pass one up just to get the large window. Would be OK in a 50's truck though.
