Re: PROJECT "Father/Son" C-20 Rolling Chassis Build

Hey John
Regarding the Blitzluft, there are 2 vertical terminals and 1 horizontal. Use the L vertical for ground and R vertical for 12V power.
Keep up the good work and posting pics. I'm certain we're going to run shocks on all corners. We'll talk down the road more about the shock mounts.
Cheers,
Rich

Sweet. Tha KP notch is a nice piece. Well worth the money if you don't have a press brake.

Re: PROJECT Father/Son Chassis build....

Well I am back with more pictures....My customer wants pictures so here goes......

-

I want to run 90 deg. fittings in front rather than the straights (to hide the line) but the supplied elbow fittings were too short, so I had to run to Royal to pick up these nice taller swivels....

Re: PROJECT Father/Son Chassis build....

Two things you probably already know, but I'll just mention them anyway...

I think you need some sort of steering stop. I left that part of the bump stop mount on mine and have seen others do it this way. Also, you can cut those lower cups down to 3/4" if you want to get it lower. This pics shows both (my cups are 1.5")

Re: PROJECT "Father/Son" C-20 Rolling Chassis Build

Looks great. Thanks for the good work!

I noticed reading that several people had questions on the front bag mounting brackets. Those brackets were not from FBI but from Suicidedoors. I think the cost was around $50 for the pair, which is upper and lower brackets.

Re: PROJECT "Father/Son" C-20 Rolling Chassis Build

Im back with a few more pics....The wife pissed me off last night, so I left to blow off some steam at the shop....

I mocked up and temporarily installed the aluiminum fuel tank...

Here is the cool tank....
-

-
and the crossmember to be removed....
-

-

-

-

-
Test fit...
-

-

-
I had to trim this corner of the crossmember (this Xmember will be removed later for the c-notch)
-

-

-
I used two of the existing holes, I reached in with a scribe to mark the tank....
