How I get rid of speaker holes!!
I have a realy nice set of 72 doors that are not rusted out, but did have speaker holes cut in them. I had some extra time and a couple of scrap doors to cut up, so I thought what the heck!! It gives me a chance to keep up my practice of welding.... How do you think it turned out? I don't think too bad for a Rooky!! Anyway I thought that I would publish the pictures to show the lesser experienced guys that a little time, patients, welder and a little practice, you could fix simeler problems inexpesivly.
  WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.comThis first set of pictures show cutting the speaker hole out to make the hole square. I did this because I figured it would be easier to make the patch... If you want you could hold the new metal to the bottom of the hole and trace the new patch though.
