I am using the original springs, I blasted , primed, and painted as well, I lost those pics of them being prepared.
I do not have the pulley's on yet, I will in a week or so, sorry. They are simple though, and I have them painted, and ready.

Well, here's a rolling chassis, finally! Every maintanance part has been replaced, brgs, seals, ball joints, rotors, calipers, control arm shafts & bushings, new posi rear carrier, every steel brake, & fuel line new, and clearcoated, all rear end bushings, complete park brake system new, and so on, and so on....it's a brand new chassis! Hope you like , I sure am proud!

Roadtacer, something I thought I'd mention.

You should remove the bolts from your upper ball joints and reinstall them the other way, with the nuts on top. The reason is that once you fill the grease boot full of grease and it pooches out, the threaded bolt ends will rub against the boots as they are now when the suspension cycles through it's range.

Most brands of ball joints have a little instruction sheet in there that warns to do it this way. I know it seems wrong, having bolts in upside down, but in this case it is right.

You are correct sir! I just couldn't do it though, LOL ! It will never see a hundred miles probably.

Wet sanded and buffed entire cab, inside, out, and under the floorboard. Dark olive and white. Replaced front cab supports, and rear cab corners. Rocker panels had been replaced already. Cab was sandblasted, all new seamseal, etch primmed, base coat, and six coats clear, PPG materials.

Just curious...why so many shims on those upper control arms? Is that normal? Mine has maybe 1-3 on my 67 if I remember correctly.

I added extra shims, so when I have it aligned, they will take shims out, that I have already clear coated, and will not add their un-cleared ones. I want this thing to look this way in 10 years, maybe.
