Actually the bolt size is 7/16 NF.

He has the best prices going on aftermarket seatbelts. They are the same ones Brothers, LMC, etc sell.

So my 68 has them but they are painted over, is it a plug??? is it fine or coarse thread since I think I read both? I have the LMC black set and they are going on soon.

I just installed drivers and passengers 3 point belts from LMC Truck. First one took about 2 hours ( really no instructions ) The other side took just 20 minutes. I am very happy due to the fact with drum brakes and a metal dash, i love my face,lol

My dad's 71 had coat hooks IIRC mounted in the hole. I saved a set of hooks from my Chevelle when I sold it in hopes of doing something similar. Then I turned around and bought 3 point belts.
