Re: Show off your Wheels

mine are 18" X 7.5" wide (40mm reverse offset) I needed this offset for the front, but it puts the backs in too far. I found it hard to find wheels I liked that came in two different offsets (that weren't outragous in price)

Re: Show off your Wheels

15x7 old school Torq Thrust knockoffs. No markings on the back so I have no idea whose they are. Scored all four off Craigslist for $160 so I'm not complaining. My tires are take offs from CL again, $60 for brand new tires! Pretty pleased I'm all in for $220. Tires are 235/75's but I'm okay with that for now.

Damn, I don't know why Photobucket sometimes flips my photos upside down. I edit them and sometimes they show up right, sometimes not.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Thanks very much Jim!

I mentioned somewhere before I originally bought them for my old '46 Chevy truck but sold it before I ever got the chance. They sat in my garage a year & half and my '55 just happened to already have the 5x4.75 pattern so I lucked out. The sidewalls are too tall - makes it look like the cartoon cars in "Roger Rabbit" but for now they're ok...and waay cheap.

What I remember in the late sixties, there were only two brands and styles of 5-spoke mag:
Crager and American. Your type is the same as American mags.
(subject to someone remembering better than me)
