Re: Hard too find or rare parts for 73-87?

How about a 73 only EGR block off plate?
And the ever popular working windshield washer motor for pre '85.

Its for sale by a forum member here, along with a ton of other NOS parts.

Rare indeed.

I got lucky, found another at a junkyard last week, driver quality, will be posting it for sale here soon.

Re: Hard too find or rare parts for 73-87?

are the chrome 4-speed shifters sought after for a 73-80? I snagged one last week and thought about putting it in the 79, but need a chrome 205 shifter too match. lol

I have a 73/74 GMC grill uncracked, and has all the bars. Are they really that hard to find?

The small tail gate bands for the 73-80 trucks are pretty uncommon.

Re: Hard too find or rare parts for 73-87?

Ugh...now I'll have to go take a second look at everything here at work (junk yard) to make sure I haven't missed anything. I've been looking for the Dome/Cargo, I knew about the hand throttle, but forgot to keep my eyes open for it. We just got an odd one the other day '78 K20 'burban, 350/SM-465/NP-205 in it. Originally a 305, still has the glovebox sticker. It was a Gov't special order, the last RPO had something listed about it.

The bowties for 1980 grille's are tough to find and aftermarket ones are twice the price of other years.

Re: Hard too find or rare parts for 73-87?

Anybody have a line on the rubber inserts and upper brackets for an '85 BB radiator??? I've found them for the small radiator but not the big one...
