Color looks great, glad to hear your dad is doing well. What promped my interest tho is the upper alternator bracket, is that home made?

That's a factory big block bracket for 1972 only. I say only, but maybe 71 too, I can't remember.

I have seen that bracket on larger C50, C60, etc.. trucks.

Awesome! A wood bed painted just like GM did it back in the day. Can't wait to see this one finished.

Your original survivor makes me want to restore mine to its original stock form instead of a restomod. Beautiful stuff!
