Mr. pops the electric valve shouldnt stick no matter what pressure you have, it should just click, maybe the coil in the valve is getting stuck try loosening the bolt on the top of the valve and see if that helps. You can replace the valve with a regular 12v air valve, just don't go too any bigger then 3/8" it will be really high pitched.

well im glad they still consider my horn, "for the utterly insane", my set up is different then what they have, its got (2) viair 400c compressors, (2) 1/2" airvalves, and im running a 200psi pressure switch, when i hit the horn button i make trains jealous.

i was planning on running the k5la's but with the compressors and tanlks big enough to run air tools off it

Here's my horns mounted under the hood for now. Gonna move 'em later this summer under the the radiator on a piece of angle iron between the frame rails and upgrade the hose to them from 1/4" to 1/2"
