Well, it wasn't my my choice, I bought the cab already re-finished.... Black cherry a 90's mopar color.... I plan on going with a aqua/white2 tone

Interesting pictures.

That old rusty "Pink" '64 or '65 GMC Tanker is a 6500 by the description under one of the previous pictures that I saw of it a short while back.

That picture is actually pretty special to me. I used to drive a '62 GMC 6500 and that picture was the first image that I saw of another '62 to '66 6500 in 38 years since I last drove my '62 back in '74. The 6500 is pretty rare. To this day, I still have not actually seen another one since. The only other thing I was able to find was some "painted" images of some on Factory Brochures.

What makes the 6500 rare, besides the heavy specs, is the Engine. They have 478 V-6's in them.

If anyone can find any others, please post.
