Re: my twin turbo sleeper nova
welp, with the hot side off getting coated, I turned my attention to the cold side. first thing was to mount the intercooler.
because im going for that sleeper look, I definitely want to hide it behind the grille and keep it looking "stockish"... so off comes the front grille assy, again, and then I placed the IC in the location I wanted...so the hood latch assy. was the determining factor on how high I could mount the IC (I don't want to do hood pins), so I had to modify the latch assy..first thing I did was remove the center grille bracket (drilled out a couple of rivets), then I cut the 'pull' to open the hood off, shortened it, did a slight rebending, and welded it to the latch assy. effectively just moving my hood pull up about 6"...and finally painted it again.

Re: my twin turbo sleeper nova
here is a couple of pics of the IC. its a 12"x30"x3".. in these pics its just sitting on the front subframe cross bar, so I could verify my modified latch assy, would clear it...

Re: my twin turbo sleeper nova
ok, got the intercooler mounted, the front cross member of the subframe was in the perfect spot for mounting the IC. so I drilled a couple of 1" holes from the bottom, then mounted some studs in the IC, and bolted it down.
once it was bolted down, I trimmed my lower filler panel to fit around the IC, I'm sure it'll get trimmed on more, once I run the cold side piping, but here is how it is now. then finally, I had to remove the lower 1" aluminum lip of the grille to give me clearance from the IC.

Nice work! I'm sure it'll be getting real filled up in there once you get the piping built!

Re: my twin turbo sleeper nova
so with that center piece removed from the grille assy., it tied my hood latch assy., grille, and lower filler piece together, and since I no longer have that, I needed to add rigidity back to all them again, and tie my IC into the mix too. so my simple solution was to make a cross bar on the IC, and have a stand off connecting to my hood latch assy. (my hood latch assy. also attaches to the grille, so it stiffens everything up more so then the factory center bracket that I had to do away with)

Re: my twin turbo sleeper nova
also got the headers, turbos, and downpipes installed. before I installed the down pipes, I had to transfer over my O2 sensors and install my wideband..

Re: my twin turbo sleeper nova
for the oil feed, I tapped off the rear, top, of block (same location as stock oil sending unit).... I bent up some 1/4" stainless steel hardline, then ' T ' it off, to feed both turbos...for the drain, I used -10 AN fittings and braided SS hose. I drilled and tapped the oil pan to accept the fittings..

Re: my twin turbo sleeper nova
while I had the intake manifold off, routing my oil feed line under it. I changed out my stock 85mm TB to a 102mm TB (see pic below for comparison, the 102is a big'un) . to do this required some porting of the intake manifold, but once I had manifold ported, it worked out nicely.....then I painted the TB,and re-assembled everything...
