Thanks for all the kind words. The color is Indigo Blue Metallic it's a GM factory color for the newer trucks. it is basecoat clearcoat. I also like to see them closer to original. I'm not going to keep those hubcaps on it all the time, I may save them for the winter, but I want to put a set of chrome 8 spoke wagon wheels on it. i'm gonna put a 327 in it for a little fun but I'm keeping the I-6 for originality, I'll put it in the corner of the shed and save it for later.

ya my dad and I painted it, it's not perfect but it's a good learning experience. the good thing with basecoat clearcoat is if you really don't like it you just rough up the clear and shoot on some more. that will solve all of the problems like orange peel and places where it may not have been on heavy enough.

no they are not original hubcaps but they had a bow tie on them and they were better than the F**D ones that were on it before.
