Rear end swap
I have a 69 GMC 3/4 ton flatbed that is mostly a work truck but I need to be able to go free way speeds. It currently has a 4.56 rear end in it with a 3 speed with a granny standard trans. I want to try to keep the trans because it comes in handy with and many jobs we have for it. Looking for suggestions as far as if there is a easy swap to a different 3/4 axle. I've also looked at a different ring in pinion but I can only go down to a 4.11 without changing the whole carrier.
