Re: Towing?

Well guys I am sticking to my guns auto is the way I am going since the truck came with it im leaving it. Do you guys think it will be a problem if I lift the truck 4 inches and put 33 inch tall tires on it? I figure it will help my highway revs a little. also my truck came with a detroit locker in the rear. we will see how this 400 turns out I may just freshen it up or build it for tq it depends on if I can sell my cherokee. p.s. no more hijacking!

Talking Re: Towing?

I tow a 6,000 lb. travel trailer and use a th400 tranny. Never a problem with it. Good reciever, anti sway load leveling hitch, good maintained trailer brakes and you are home. Oh yeah, 4 row radiator and tranny cooler with aux. fans for summer city towing. You need to get on a good RV site and get the lowdown on the CORRECT way to set your rig up and you will enjoy towing a lot better. Don't get a cheap trailer brake controller! There is a world of difference in them.
