I'll play devil's advocate and say maybe he meant you could sleeve it back to a 307. Most likely he's just doing what way too many sellers and politicians do nowadays.

The guy is trying to say that he has a 307 that was made from a 327 block. He bored it out 0.040. If you buy it, and bore it out to the same hole as a 327, you'll have a "new" 327.
Now whether this is possible or true I don't know. Just trying to help you guys that seem upset by his craigs list post.

I'm not for certain but I think the only thing you could get a 327 in in 69 was a Camaro and that was until mid-year then they too were replaced with 307s.
