Thanks

for all the compliments. I found out why she started running a little rough. Lifted the hood and number 6 plug wire had come off. Pushed it back on and purring again! LOL

Here is the interior.

bastard, him and i saw the truck on the way to the cheifs game, we both wanted it, he told me i wouldnt have a ride home if i bought it, bully. It is probably the cleanest unrestored truck i have ever seen, it is really nice. I hate to tell you guys but if he ever sells it i got first dibs, and im going to make sure he takes care of my, uh i mean his, new truck.

Wages was my big incentive to buy the poor truck. We are standing there looking at it and he starts talking about 20's and bags and this and that....I got home and told my wife I just couldn't let him hack it up!! LOL

Oh, and speaking of the Chiefs game. You all need to stay posted for a special picture of Lost Wages. I will post it next week. It sure is tough making a bet against the home team and loosing!!

I'm afraid for this truck. We've got Mudder who wants to rape it, Lolife99 who wants it (and unless he's got a low self-esteem his board name indicates awful plans for it ).

On a serious note, a question and an observation:

1. Does this truck has PS, or what is that pulley on LH side of engine?

2. I've never seen an I6 (250) with a full fan shroud. Most have a steel partial shroud bolted to top of radiator support. Any input on this?

It has a factory installed smog pump on it, no power steering. My 71 had a fan shroud with the original I-6????

Sounds like a good topic for debate discussion. I suspect the answer is the auto tranny? All I6's I've had (more than 2) have been 3 on tree with the partial shroud. Maybe automatics and sixes with a/c required extra cooling?

Smog pump? Where was this truck built? Freemont plant in CA? I thought only CA trucks had the smog equipment mandated.

I'm not so sure I'd come out and advertise this here. Now we have to have this thread move to the "swinger's" forum

I will have to look and see where she was built. I haven't had a chance to do that yet.
