Lines or hoses? I would bet Summit, jegs, or 4WPW has the stainless hoses.

Re: 84 k10 GMC swb, "Big Red"
Roughcountry.com has them. Gray and I are too cheap to buy them. He lifted my burb the week before his truck. We are going to make some or something close to it. Cheap.............

Re: 84 k10 GMC swb, "Big Red"
Man you had me all excited with the 10" lift and already had 38.5 Swampers, but I think it turned out for the best with still going6" and 36's at least your still up there and can be a bit more useable to you as it probably has a 3.08 ratio or something close, looking good, interior turned out nice too.

Well here it is all finished up. started it at 9 oclock the other morning, had it all finished up around 6 or so. Its such a huge transformation
on the trailer destruction cali lean! sitting beside a NBS 3/4 ton with 35s sittin beside my 70 all in all the install went smoothly, im very satisfied. i still need to mount the shocks, I was just too tired to mess with it.

Re: 84 k10 GMC swb, "Big Red"
well guys ive been enjoying my swb alot lately, been taking it out to the lake almost everyday to play around! Yesterday I had to recover 3 trucks, an f150 sunk to the doors, an 07 cummins dodge that was missing a front wheel and sunk to the doors, and some idiot in a 2wd s10 blazer. It got some respect for doing all that work and then driving home!
heres a few recent pics of the fun im having! poser what a better time to install the front driveshaft playing in the water Gettin stuck! it was some nasty stuff another poser after getting unstuck with the lights on

Re: 84 k10 GMC swb, "Big Red"
thanks guys! i would have loved to have the 10 inch lift, but before i go that big I need to do some other things to the truck. I'm thinking of going with a 3 inch BL and 38s later on, that would put me at 9 inches of lift, which is pretty respectable.
My buddy has an 03 chevy with a 6 inch suspension, 3"BL and 38 inch mud grapplers, and our trucks sit at the same height! gotta love a square.

Re: 84 k10 GMC swb, "Big Red"
9 with the body lift is a nice height, quite a few of my friends run the same with their GM's and 38 fit real nice and don't hit even when we go to the mud drags and race them, lots of abuse and fun. My 71 Gm seems small with 35 Swampers and a 6" spring, so I may in time add a 2-3" bodt too and run a 37 or 38. Have a few other things to do first as always right. Yours sure looks a lot better than when you started, at least you can take it out and have fun.

Re: 84 k10 GMC swb, "Big Red"
yeah I know how it goes with the mutliple projects, I finally narrowed mine down to my 70 (always needs something) the 84 swb (mud truck) and my 85 swb (full frame off).
I promised myself I wouldnt buy another project until these 3 are how I want them

Re: 84 k10 GMC swb, "Big Red"
My last truck a big semi gloss Bronco looked good with a cheap paint job but looked at a few 67-72 gm's and they don't seem to look to cool flat/semi black so going to have to save and drive with a ratty copper/white 2 tone till I can afford a nice original 2 tone again, some day. Till then just bag it and have fun.
