Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

Large vintage camper $9800. Not mine.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/r...153167993.html

We believe this is the very first one of these campers manufactured at the California factory! (look at the serial number).

Clean, straight, solid (I do not believe it has any structural issues whatsoever, unlike many out there)

No dents to speak of, no scrapes, no broken glass. Original interior in nice shape for the age.

Needs some light lenses replaced (we already bought some)

We bought it years ago, but never used it. All appliances worked, but have not been tested in quite some time and would need to be checked out.

This camper will likely appreciate like all the Airstream, Avion, Cayo, Silver Streak trailer and motorhome RV's out there. But we need the space and don't use it, so here's your chance to buy a pretty rare unit for a still-reasonable price.

72 Custom Camper $6200. Not mine.

https://portland.craigslist.org/clc/...170018415.html

This is a good solid truck with minimal rust in only a few of the typical areas. It still looks very respectable and runs and drives good. I was told the Crate 350 was installed in the late 1990’s, as well as the transmission rebuilt when the truck had just over 100,000 miles and it shows 42,600 now. I can’t justify keeping it when I have only used it 3 times in the last year. Needs front tires but can drive it home.

Oh my... a 68 Longhorn Custom Camper CST. That's a rare bird (68 makes it rare enough already). If I were closer... and and and blah blah. I need more room, and time, and money. Other than that, But ANYway - what a great find!

I know! If the old lady wasn't getting her hip replaced tomorrow I'd be southbound in the AM.

Nope, not sayin' that at all. I have bought my share of Warn hubs, but now it seems everybody is going back to blue dials and my $600 estimate is probably a little light.

I just can't keep up. I know that feeling and I am trying to quit trying.

I called on this one to confirm the trim level... it’s a factory Custom/10 with two tone paint and trim options added. Nice truck. Guy said he had 2 buyers lined up already... I doubt it’ll get to #3...
