There are many myths out there.I've never experienced any of them and I've run 16.5s for over 35 years on many many trucks. They aren't dangerous, they still make them, and they aren't more expensive.

Lighten up,man.I'm not looking to argue, just help this young guy out with accurate information. We're talkin' the type of tires you'd run on an 8-lug truck with 9.75" rims all around...generally a 4wd,like he owns.

Re: Will these wheels work?

I agree that 16.5" tires cost an arm and a leg...I have been in the same boat, and avoid 16.5 wheels now.

But...I also agree that the low cost of the wheels makes up for the arm and leg cost of the tires. $75 for all 4 of those wheels is a great deal. That being said, I would probably buy them because they are cool looking and period correct like ralleys and slotted mags.
