My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

Re: Can someone lay the frame of my truck

That is an awesome thread Kevin. I have some of that work already done. New upper and lower ball joints and control arm shafts and bushings.

Those caps are off of the late 60's camaros and novas. Called poverty caps.

Re: Can someone lay the frame of my truck

Those were 15x8 6 lug steelies. I actually bought them off a guy on the forum. Just cleaned up nicely, sprayed and COPO caps.

I have since sold the truck though. A guy drove from NJ to TN to pick it up in an enclosed trailer. I drug this old truck out of the woods in Gatlinburg TN. It had lost brake pressure and sat completely untouched for 3 yrs. A good cleanup, 3/5 drop and some steelies. That's all we really did to it. Dad put the logo on the side of it.

All things considered, new brakes, hoses, the dependability stuff .. cleaned the tank, etc. We had about $2600 in it. I sold it for $4350.

It has 3x2's on it now and the guy that bought it is really 'shop trucking' it up. It was a cool old truck. 327 / Muncie 4 speed in the floor and would pull like a mule.

Good looking truck, glad to see another saved from rotting to death. Worth every penny of that $4350 and then some out here
