Re: Jackalope
I'm definitely going to tune in on this build. I love your stuff!
What do you have up your sleeve for wheels and tires?

Re: Jackalope
So far the plan is Ooooold school. Some O.E. chrome steels with some nice pie cut firestones.

Re: Jackalope
That cab looks to be in prime condition. Is that what a firewall is SUPPOSED to look like? I've never seen one without a lot of extra holes, LOL.
Love that pic inside the shop with the two hot rods in the background. |

Re: Jackalope
It sure is nice to see Delmo's builds, not a lot of bull**** back and forth like mine and others. Its "Got the truck, got it apart, got the chassis done, got it powdercoated, etc. On to the next part. I would love to have your job. I assume you make your living this way?
Are you going to buy a wiring kit for that LS already pre-routed for that style truck (I think you can buy them from someone who cuts out what you dont need), or are you just pulling ECM and harness out of a donor and doing your own splicing?

Re: Jackalope
Thanks guys. Sounds good to me Sam. LOL
Tapping into the stock harness, obviously I'll clean it up the best I can and hide as much as possible. I get the chassis back tomorrow so in the meantime I stripped the bed and got the rear end ready to drop in with new rotors and calipers etc. |
