Re: 69 Olive Verde

Forgot to get any pictures up. Here's a few boring pictures. I plan to get more progress done by tomorrow so I can get more boring body work pictures for you guys haha. Believe me I hate it just as much as you do. Painted deadline is end of August and I am extremely motivated to make that a reality.

Some wet primer. Nice to see how all that block prime block prime is paying off.

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Thanks fellows. Went another round on the drivers door last night and the rest of the bed and tailgate and all in final prime awaiting wet sanding. I really need to get that cab up to par.

Ordered a new 80 gallon 2stage compressor yesterday so I can retire my current 10yr old model. Bad part is it won't arrive for 2 weeks so I've already missed my August paint deadline

Re: 69 Olive Verde

All I can taste is chalky sanding dust. 8 hrs of straight sanding and an entire gallon of mud gone.

Really liking the dark wheel Look. Just looks like it's ready for fuel to go destroy some tires.

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Progress has slowed this week on the truck but for good cause. Working on getting new compressor setup and scored 3k sq ft of insulation for my new building for free.

It's getting there. Just have to try and slow down the next part so I can go through everything with a fine tooth comb. Did get a new tool today. Tired of expecting a $10k-$20k quality paint job with a $150 gun. Doing it right this time. My best work is done with the better tools, but I guess that is probably the case for most of us.

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Got the inside of the bed ready for paint and seam sealed the cab...forgot how much that sucks. Will have to slick out a few spots but wet sanding has began and so far looking slick.
