Re: 1967-1970 New Battery Cables

Do you have a set for my 1968 Chevy K10 (w/327)? Also - what's the main difference if it has AC? I will be adding aftermarket AC eventually.

I have the pos cable and one neg cable with out a bag so I don't know if it will fit. Its 21" from eyelet to eyelet. Check and see if it will would work on your truck. If it does I have a pair. Let me know.

I'll need to have one made. Should take a couple of weeks. Will that work for you?.

I checked the GM parts book and it should be 32" long.

Re: 1967-1970 New Battery Cables

Hi Roger,
I need a set for my 1968 C20 327 w/factory AC. Looks like the cables I have are original. Not exactly sure where the measurements are made from but the negative is around 26" and the positive is about 54". Both are black, top post.
Would you have a set for that application?
Thanks a bunch,
Dave

Re: 1967-1970 New Battery Cables

Thanks for getting back to me, Roger. I think that the ground will work but the positive might be a bit too long. It sounds like you have access to GM part numbers. I found a number on the positive cable today. It is stamped as 1235. Does this number cross to anything in the parts reference? The ground has no number - which makes me think that the original could have been replaced at some point with a slightly shorter cable.

Can't find any cable with 1235.
