I'm Tyler Pinkney 18, work at Slave-mart... I mean Save-mart (local grocery chain) and Barham Industrial Construction. I am currently a senior at our high school (only High school in town until 2 years ago). This summer I'll be working my ass off trying to get some $$ for the truck and college. I'm going to major in Computer Networking/Electronics technology. I really don't know how I find the time to be on this board all the time with how many jobs I have. I don't get much sleep.

Mike, 49. Was a Carpenter for 30 + years and recently changed occupations. Now work at a place called Cardinal Plastics. Don't know what you would call my job title, but it involves cutting and shipping a lot of different kinds of plastics. Before this, I would have never dreamed there were so many different kinds of this stuff.

Kevin-- 32 years old as of last week (March 2).

I'm a Licensed Professional Engineer specializing in stormwater management these days. I now work in the land development/civil engineering field. I also serve as a Division Staff Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, specializing in operations/patrols, vessel inspection, and information systems.

Previously, I worked in the mining industry in both engineering and, mostly, front-line production supervision. I'm a retired volunteer member of the National Ski Patrol as well-- I spent 9 rewarding years treating patients as a first responder.

I'm 27, studying to be a Ph.D. chemist at UT. So i guess that makes two chemists visiting the board... although I wish I knew half as much about cars as gchemist.
And I'm so far from being an engineer I barely understand the physics behind unscrewing a bolt.

I'm Ben, 15 years old and I'll be sixteen in about 2 months. I'm a sophomore in high school and I plan on going to Bradley University to study Engineering and then 2 years at a tech school(maybe Lincoln Tech) to be a mechanic and eventually start my own custom auto shop.

I just sold some stuff so now I have money to buy some body panels to start fixing my cab.

I'm Brandon, 27 years old, married for a little over 5 years.

I will be a Professional Geologist in one year (already passed both exams) and a Professional Engineer in two (if I pass my PE exam). I work for a private consulting firm doing environmental and construction-related work.

It's funny to see so many mechanical engineering majors on here. I was one for three years before switching to geological engineering.

I didn't realize there were so many young guys on here.
