Re: My truck is on the cover of Jegs!

If you call them they may send you some extra copies. Congrats and I know how you feel. Frame it! And yes when you did that photo shoot you gave the permission by signing.

I know a guy that went to a show and his taillights lenses on his truck ended up in an ad. He complained but when he went into that show he signed releases giving them the right to use the photos they took there.

Re: My truck is on the cover of Jegs!

Here is the e-mail I received from Jegs.. They are sending an autographed copy!! Sweet!!!

Fritz,
Glad to hear you enjoyed our cover! Your C10 is a nice piece and it is our pleasure to feature it on the cover. I work with Rich Chenet for many of my cover shots and that is where it came from. He is the photographer that probably shot it for Classic Trucks, and if I had to guess, he shot it in Columbus or near his home in PA. We don’t always know who the owner is of our cover cars, or they may have changed hands by the time we run them. It’s always nice to hear from guys like you who own the feature vehicle. About 1 million of these Oct/Nov 08 catalogs were printed. The cover image will also be in ads and on our website. I will send you copies along with a copy of the cover before it was trimmed with all four Coughlin brothers signatures so you could frame that if you would like. If you need anything further, please contact me at the information below.

That's pretty cool. I think the Santa's helper on the cover needs to be autographing the pic too!
