Re: Need seat pictures please

The correct seat cover for Chevy trucks is long overdue. What is available from the aftermarket now is a joke. THe 64-65 custom seat (post #2) and the 66 custom seat (post 7) are excellent examples and would be the most popular. WHat is great about these years is medium fawn was used with about 80% of all exterior colors, red was used with about 20%. Also, the "custom" seat was available as an option even on standard base models.

Here's the seat in my 64. Definitely not for everyone but I'm old and grew up in the days of Paisley Print, Bell Bottoms & Nehru Collars. The seat is actually darker than it looks in the pictures.

Re: Need seat pictures please

WhippinSaw and Captainfab: Yes, these covers would both help us get going on these. They would have to be sent know they wouldn't be returned since they would be in pieces.

Captainfab: Thanks for reminding me of your earlier post. We just weren't quite ready at that time.

Guys please understand this will take some time. Thanks

Re: Need seat pictures please

Does anyone have pictures of 1966 panel truck bucket seat covers? Original only please . I know pickup seat covers were a different pattern than 1965 but I don't know if panel trucks were. Not sure if they show it in the data books clearly or not ?

Gonna be tough to get someone to give up an intact factory seat cover. How badly worn or torn would still be usable for your needs?
