I think Tom said it weighed 3300 with an aluminum headed bigblock and a driver but at the time it had roll pans, and no tailgate!

Stroker I love that pic and I always have! I have called Tom a hundred times asking questions so my 71 would work like this truck! I called him friday and he made me an offer I couldn't refuse! I am going to race it like it is for this year and maybe put it on a diet, and change it to a fleet over the winter!
Touch of madness Its only a trailer queen cause it has no motor or tranny! It will be driven on the streeet as well as down the track!

If you're gonna drive it on the street I would pay good money to see peoples faces when you pull the wheels at a light. I have a lot of evil thoughts going through my head.

I admired Tom's truck for years but its going to get a new look! I don't want anything like is not uniquely mine! I'll include a pic of my last race car! It was nicer outside but not as nice as the truck chassis wise! It went 9.20 @ 143 with a alcohol injected 468. Rw Those are a couple of things I'm not crazy about but is great for street use! If I can finish my really nice street truck I will put this truck on a serious diet!

well i mean look around....how many fleets do you see compared to steps...that's all im saying...i know when i first saw the truck i thought it was cool but the thing i noticed first was it was a stepside...pretty cool cause it's not the same old truck everyone else has.

Its ccol because of lots of reasons but in my eyes the step bed is less aerodynamic and takes away from the truck! I'll post pics of my progress as I go! I hope to take a nice truck and make an AWESOME truck!

This might not look like much progress
But you should have seen my shop a couple of monthes ago! Me and several of my buddies threw away 60 plus yards of crap! Now it time to get down to business! I am going to sell this bed if anyone is interested! I'd take 800 with the aluminum wing new tailgate aluminum bed cover and new chrome rear bumper!
