Okay, lets clear the air here cause I just read through this build and now I am totally confused. So which truck are you building here ? They all seem worthy of the new life so are you building the stepper and the last truck you posted ?

sorry for the confusion i should have not mixed builds , i originally purchased the SWB frame to restore for the Stepside but then i couldn't pass up the 69 from Doc & Kim which was just a sheet metal purchase the step side is only really needing some minimal body work and paint. I been driving the 67 wannabe and just having fun 327 mild cam ...M20 and 373 posi . I'm going to finish the Doc & Kim and get back to the Desert when finished..... here is how she stands today...well almost pumped up my airbags went to the depot for mulch this past spring hope that makes it all clear as mud

Re: I am from the Desert

Wow I’m jealous so many nice trucks to work on. Is the first truck a 68? I’m sure it will be very desirable that one when finished. The 69 though that thing looks like it just needs a windscreen and an engine bodywork looks really good from the pic

Re: I am from the Desert

its been 4 years and I been driving this build and making no progress on its completion. I have committed the $$$s and time to complete to a finish. So the last few months or so I have been preparing to dismantle and blast every thing in and out epoxy prime and hand off to the body shop. 2020 I had some top end noise in the 327 and took it out replaced it with a donor 307 from a 1980 c 10 had the m-20 rebuilt and I am in the progress of rebuilding the 327 to drop back in . Last week I took the rear fenders steps roll pan etc. off and sent to blast. Next will be the front clip then doors then cab then prep the frame static drop the front 4 inches rear is already bagged with hidden hitch installed 4 years ago

thank you, I assume they don't do any rust repair just cover the metal for you to prevent it from rusting after media blasting, correct? then it is up to you to sand or wire wheel any troubled spots and weld in your patches
