Do you have a build thread?? Was there any frame mods to get the quad cab and swb to fit???

Re: pics of my crew cab swb

Was there a lot of difference in the height of the framerails where you sectioned it towards the front of the bed? I picked up a 75 dually pretty cheap, and was thinking about cutting the frame to build a crew cab short bed. I picked it up through a friend, so I haven't been able to make it down there to check it out yet. I was tossing around either picking up a bed and frame section, but wasn't sure how far it would be off.

Re: pics of my crew cab swb

Oh I see how you did yours. I have a standard cab long bed, I wanted to do this to. I guess I'll have lengthen the frame on mine.
yours looks good BTW.

Thumbs up! I like the gmc grilles from those years better than the chevys. These trucks take the flat black really well.

Re: pics of my crew cab swb

I realize this truck is gone, but I was wondering what the drop and tire size was on it?
and if you don't mind, I'm gonna copy these pics over to the CCSB picture thread

Oh and.....do you have any interior pics?

Re: pics of my crew cab swb

When converting from 3/4t to 1/2t do i need to change front cross members or just the suspension like control arms and springs rotors obviously? I found a rolling 2wd chassis for a perfect crewcab swap. thanks
